Find out how Art Club builds creative skills through various art forms, with opportunities to join school events and competitions.
Art Club allows students across levels of shared interest in art to learn and experience a variety of art media and tools together.
The CCA aims to develop students’ confidence and key capacities in expressing themselves through art. Besides progressive development of skills and techniques for the students, the programme also encourages thinking dispositions such as flexible thinking and considering multiple perspectives.
The varied art modules present ample opportunities for students to discover their artistic interests and express their creative voices.
Values and competencies the CCA aims to develop:
Imparts values of responsibility, resilience and teamwork
Expands creativity and imagination
Builds capacity in visual literacy, art appreciation and skills in handling various media
Approaches the CCA adopts
Introduces a wide variety of art forms from 2D to 3D and digital media
Opportunities to contribute to school’s art programmes and events
Opportunities to participate in external art competitions
