String Ensemble
Find out how the String Ensemble builds musical skills, resilience, and lasting friendships through ensemble playing.
MGS String Ensemble consists of the violin, viola, cello, double bass and the harp section.
Through the String Ensemble, students developed the skills of playing expressively and with good technique. Students also learn the importance of perseverance, determination and teamwork when playing together as an ensemble. Most importantly, friendships and camaraderie are forged during their time in the String Ensemble.

Have obtained a minimum Grade 1 ABRSM certification or similar certification. Teacher-in-charge will contact parents to obtain proof of certification after the CCA registration.
During those years that the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation is taking place, CCA will be held twice a week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) until the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation performance.
