Bowling
Find out how pupils learn bowling techniques, build team spirit and perseverance
Bowling CCA in MGS aims to teach fundamental bowling techniques like holding, releasing, aiming as well as the approach to determine the best angle to release the ball. This helps to develop the pupils’ psycho-motor and balancing skills. Throwing techniques for accurate hits of tenpins are also taught to maximise the possibilities of strikes and spares.
Bowling CCA also hopes to inculcate in pupils a passion for bowling as a lifetime sport. Pupils will also learn the values of self-discipline, perseverance and sportsmanship to boost team spirit.
