Learning Outcomes
The Art programme in MGS aims to cultivate in every girl a lifelong enjoyment and appreciation of the visual arts through exposure to a variety of art media, artists and artworks. Every girl acquires knowledge, skills and values that equip her to:
Observe, analyse and reflect on her visual experiences
Express, create and communicate confidently to achieve her artistic intentions
Connect with and respond to the environment and cultures around her
Understand and appreciate the value of art in her life and in society

Assessment
Portfolio Assessment is conducted once a semester.
Final grade is derived from the mean grade of all art pieces completed during each semester.
