Learning Outcomes
The Music programme in MGS aims to inculcate in every girl an appreciation and love for music. Every girl possesses innate musical qualities that could be harnessed and developed by
a. Acquiring and applying musical skills, knowledge and understanding through Listening, Creating and Performing
b. Developing abilities for creative expression and communication
c. Developing an understanding and appreciation of music in local and global cultures
d. Cultivating a life-long enjoyment and involvement in music.
The girls have many opportunities to showcase what they have learnt through performing as an ensemble during class, recess recitals and performances during school-wide events.
