Learning Outcomes
In alignment with the revised Primary Science Curriculum Framework, the goals of the Science department are
to enthuse and nurture all students to be scientifically literate, so that they are able to make informed decisions and take responsible actions in their daily lives; and
to provide strong Science fundamentals for students to innovate and pursue STEM for future learning and work.
The Science Department aims to help students:
build on interest and stimulate curiosity about themselves and their environment
acquire basic concepts and skills to understand the world around them
develop skills, dispositions and attitudes for inquiry
apply Science concepts and skills in making responsible decisions
appreciate how science influences people and the environment
We hope to develop MGS girls who are INspired by Science, able to INquire like Scientists and INnovate using Science.
