MGS Awards and Scholarships 2026

Methodist Girls’ School  invites our students to apply for the following Awards and Scholarships in 2026:

(I) Puan Sri Helene Tan Chin Tuan Scholarships

(II) Jumabhoy Impact Award 

(III) Tommy Koh Award for Arts and Creativity

The criteria for all MGS awards have been aligned to reflect our belief in recognising a broader definition of success. We believe that success should not be defined by marks, grades, accolades and achievements, but by one's service and contribution.  We want to encourage our students to make a difference to positively impact the community, nation and world around them.

It is important that all awardees are of good character,  role modelling our MGS values and motto. Our values and motto are articulated on our MGS website, which you can find at the following link. 

Please refer to the MGS Awards and Scholarships Guidelines for more information on each scholarship/ award.

CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSIONS:

(i) Friday 30 January 2026, 3pm 

For Current Secondary Four/ Year Four students and 
Current Secondary One/ Year One students who continue their studies in MGS from Primary Six

(ii) Friday 6 February 2026, 3pm. 

For Secondary/ Year Four O-Level/ IP graduate (Class of 2025)

Please note that your Scholarship and/ or Award application is deemed incomplete if the required documents are not submitted in your application. All personal data collected will be used only for the purpose of evaluating the  application by the Methodist Girls’ School Scholarships & Awards Interview and Selection Panel and will not be disclosed beyond this purpose.
